International applicants must agree to the following:
- An applicant must agree to return to his/her home country immediately following studies at CFNI.
- An applicant must agree to refrain from raising monies for personal or ministry purposes while in the United States.
- An applicant must agree not to accept any type of off-campus employment, unless in possession of a valid U.S. Government employment authorization document, or be involved in any type of illegal activity whatsoever while a CFNI student.
- An applicant must agree to attend CFNI full time. All international students on F-1 status must attend school full time. A spouse or child of a full-time student (F-2 status) may not take classes. Those with F-2 status are not eligible for the Work Study Program. The U.S. government does not allow those with F-2 status to work at all on or off campus.
- An applicant must recognize that a student visa does not permit him/her to come to the U.S. for the primary purpose of traveling, but only to attend a specific school for a specific period of time. Students may travel between terms, but not while school is in session.
- An applicant must agree to deposit on arrival his/her return transportation ticket at the Admissions office. It will be held until it is time for the student to depart.
- An applicant who has not been granted an F-1 visa must not travel to the United States on a visitor's visa and then try to enroll at CFNI as a full-time student. This is illegal according to the U.S. Immigration Policy.
Any further requirements will be explained to the student during the application process.
